FOGGY DAY NOTICE 2011-2012
When a Foggy Day Schedule is called, the school district will announce on the radio and T.V. stations one of three plans.
- PLAN A- All classes will begin at 9:45AM. All students will be dismissed from class at their regular scheduled time.
- PLAN B- NO BUS RUNS, INCLUDING THE SHUTTLE. All classes will begin at 9:45AM for students who walk to school or who have their own transportation. If your child is a bus rider and you wish to bring him/her to school, you must provide your own transportation.
- PLAN C- There will be NO SCHOOL- ALL CLASSES HAVE BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO SEVERE FOG CONDITIONS.
When the bus driver is out on his/her bus route, the driver will assess the weather conditions, and if in his/her opinion it is unsafe to continue, the driver will call the transportation director who will notify all schools regarding the delay. The driver will continue on his/her route when it is safe to do so.
The radio and television will only announce or display the fog delay “PLAN”, so it is important that you become familiar with the fog delay plans. We appreciate your help and cooperation during foggy weather. Our primary concern is the safety of your children. For this reason, we request that you do not send your children to school before 9:30AM during a fog delay. This will enable us to help protect your child when he/she comes to school, but also after he/she arrives.

NOTICIARIO DE PLANES DE RETRAZO PARA DIAS NEBLINOSOS
2011-2012
Cuando el Distrito escolar declara un retraso por la neblina, el Distrito anunciara uno de los siguientes tres planes por la radio o televisor:
- PLAN A- Todas las clases comenzaran a las 9:45AM. Todos los alumnos serán despedidos de clase a su horario regular.
- PLAN B- NO SALDRAN LOS AUTOBUSES, INCLUSO EL CAMION QUE TRANSPORTA ESTUDIANTES A ALILA. Todas las clases comenzaran a las 9:45AM para los estudiantes que caminan o que tienen su propio transporte. Si a su hijo/a lo recoge el camión, pero usted desea traerlo a la escuela, usted debe proporcionar su propio transporte.
- PLAN C- NO HABRA CLASES- Todas las clases han sido canceladas debido a niebla condiciones severas.
Cuando el chofer del autobús está en ruta, él/ella evaluara las condiciones meteorológicas y si en su opinión no es seguro continuar, el chofer llamara al director de transporte quien notificara a todas las escuelas acerca de la demora. El chofer continuara su ruto cuando sea seguro en hacerlo.
La radio y el televisor solamente anunciara el “Plan” por el retraso, por lo cual usted debe familiar se con los planes de retraso. Apreciamos su ayuda y cooperación durante el tiempo de neblina. Nuestra mayor preocupación es la seguridad de nuestros alumnos. Por esta razón, le pedimos que no mande a sus niños a la escuela antes de las 9:30AM en un día programado de retraso.
