RULES FOR STUDENTS

Playground Rules

DO NOT

  • Take pictures and/or record video

  • Loiter in the halls in the morning

  • Fight, wrestle or "play fight"

  • Leave campus once you arrive in the morning until school is dismissed

  • Ride bikes, skateboards, etc...in halls or school grounds

  • Enter school through parking lots or cafeteria gates

  • Go beyond the basketball courts, the track, or other specified areas

  • Use foul language 

  • Whistle in halls or playground

  • Hang around gym area: stay outside the fence or in the bench area in the morning, during recess, and during lunch time.

  • "Tag", graffiti or destroy school property or personal property

  • Run in halls

Personal Property

DO NOT BRING

  • Weapons: Knives, guns, razors, exacto-knifes, box cutters, or other sharp and dangerous objects

  • Cellphones 

  • MP3's, CD players, or radios

  • Video games and/or game players

  • Digital/still or video cameras

  • Laser pointers

  • Gang-related, inappropriate or offensive material, items, pictures/photos, writing, or drawings

  • Water balloons or water guns

  • Spiked jewelry

  • Other property not approved by administrators or teachers

Cafeteria

DO

  • Talk softly outside and inside

  • Stay in orderly lines

  • Remove caps and hoods

  • be respectful of the space, DO NOT throw food or drinks at anytime 

  • Respect ALL adult supervisors 

  • Follow procedures for entering and exiting at all times

  • Empty all trays and left over food neatly in trash cans

  • Eat all food before leaving your table

Classroom

DO

  • Enter and exit in an orderly manner

  • Sit with your class, with aisles/space between classes

  • Be respectful, DO NOT boo, hiss, whistle, or any cause another type of disrespectful disruptions for presenters, students or staff

Assemblies

DO

  • Enter and exit in an orderly manner

  • Sit with your class, with aisles/space between classes

  • Be respectful, DO NOT boo, hiss, whistle, or any cause another type of disrespectful disruptions for presenters, students or staff

Uniform

DO

  • Wear appropriate clothing outlined in the District Uniform Policy
