Student Study Team (SST)

This is a process commonly used to assist students with a wide range of concerns related to their school performance.  Its purpose is to identify and intervene early in order to design a support system for students having difficulty in the general education classroom.

Process:

Meetings should be requested and the paperwork should be completed and sent to the administrator to schedule a meeting.  Follow up meetings, usually within six weeks of the initial meeting, should be scheduled.

  • SST Request Form completed and submitted to administrator

  • Administrator Reviews forms and schedules meetings

  • Information such as, grades, test scores, should be available for the meeting

  • Meeting is held

  • Follow up meetings are held as needed
