Student Study Team (SST)
This is a process commonly used to assist students with a wide range of concerns related to their school performance. Its purpose is to identify and intervene early in order to design a support system for students having difficulty in the general education classroom.
Process:
Meetings should be requested and the paperwork should be completed and sent to the administrator to schedule a meeting. Follow up meetings, usually within six weeks of the initial meeting, should be scheduled.
SST Request Form completed and submitted to administrator
Administrator Reviews forms and schedules meetings
Information such as, grades, test scores, should be available for the meeting
Meeting is held
Follow up meetings are held as needed
