Foggy Day Procedure
When a Foggy Day Schedule is called, the School District will announce on television stations and other media outlets one of the four plans by 6:45 a.m.
PLAN A
All classes begin at 9:45 a.m.
Bus riders will have an hour and 30 minute delay.
Bus riding students will need to be at their respective bus stop one hour and 30 minutes later than their regularly assigned time.
Breakfast will be served starting at 9:15 a.m. for students on campus.
All students will be dismissed from class at their regularly scheduled time.
PLAN B
All classes begin at 9:45 a.m.
Bus riders will have a three hour delay.
Bus riding students will need to be at their respective bus stop three hours later than their regularly assigned time.
Breakfast will be served starting at 9:15 a.m. for students on campus.
All students will be dismissed from class at their regularly scheduled time.
PLAN C
All classes begin at 9:45 a.m.
No buses will run.
If a child is a bus rider and you wish to bring him/her to school, you must provide your own transportation.
Breakfast will be served starting at 9:15 a.m. for students on campus.
All students will be dismissed from class at their regularly scheduled time.
PLAN D
No school/classes
All classes have been canceled due to severe fog conditions.
The television stations will only announce or display the fog delay “PLAN” so it is important that you become familiar with the fog delay plans. We appreciate your help and cooperation during foggy weather. Our primary concern is the safety of our students.

The school district will also send out an automated notification to parents through an automated telephone message. Please make sure your contact information is updated at your child’s school.
NOTE: The bus driver is authorized to assess the weather conditions during operation. If deemed unsafe to continue, the driver will pull off to the side of the road and only continue on the route when it is safe to do so. The transportation director will notify all schools regarding a delay.
